"Aquarius I & II "  Two twin bed quilts made identically early in  the start of  my quilting days.  The quilts were finished in January, 2002, thus the Aquarius name.  Morning Star pattern from Quilt Block Galore.  pk

"City Skyline" Queen Size Bargello quilt finished in April 2002.  pk

"Trip Around the World" nap size quilt finished in June 2006.  This is the only quilt I have done prairie points as a border.  The quilt won 3rd place in the Blackland Quilt Guild bank display  in February 2009.  pk

"Educated Weeds"  Double bed sized quilt finished in April 2007  This quilt won  first place in the Blackland Quilt Guild  annual outdoor show at City National Bank, Taylor, TX in May, 2007. pk

Egyptian Wall Hanging made for my oldest son.  He purchased the fabric and then said "Mom,  you design and make  me a wall hanging."  This was the results...the top section is represents the sun god "Ra", the sand colored pyramids came next, then different egyptian figures with King Tut in the center.  The very bottom is a river representing the River Styx.  pk

"Eye of the Tiger" King size quilt made for my youngest son who lives in California.  The quilt was finished in May 2007.  pk

"Fairy Dust" queen size quilt made in 2007 for niece Ruth who resides  near Dallas.  She wanted the quilt for her granddaughter.  It has a medallion center star with four fairy panels around the star.  pk  

"Family Ties"  queen size quilt made for niece Sue in 2008.  The pattern is mini bow ties thus the name .  It is queen size.  pk

Reenie's Centerpiece

This centerpiece was made by my mother, for my sister's mother-in-law. She made it from blue, yellow and white fat quarters purchased at The Quilt Store.

Rose-Colored Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my parents' guest room. The room is a deep rose color. It also has a rose floral wallpaper border hear the ceiling that is not to their taste. The furniture (including full bookcases) is heavy, so emptying the room to remove the border and/or repaint the room is not practical for them. This quilt works with the wall color and (hopefully) draws attention away from the wallpaper border.

I don't know that this is an actual pattern. I just made four patches of pink, rose, orange and yellow fabrics. I set them on point, alternating with the rose background fabric.

Sally's Jungle Quilt

This is a nap quilt I made from some beautiful jungle fabrics my parents bought for me at the Quilt Shop of DeLand (FL). The field is based on the "Turning Twenty" pattern. It took me a couple years to get this made. I use it as a nap quilt.

Kay's Purple Wall Hanging

This is a quilt my mother made from a kit she got at Jo-Ann's Fabrics. She pieced and quilted it. She now displays it in her guest bathroom. It turned out beautiful!
