Sally's Long-Term Garden Quilt

This was one of my long-term quilts. My parents were kind enough to buy me the pattern and some fat quarters to start his when I visited them in Florida a few years ago. This is king-sized. It took me a couple years to finish it. The finished quilt is now on my husband's and my bed. (The cat likes it, too.)

Baby Quilt

This is a baby quilt I made for a former co-worker in the winter of 2012.

Serendipity

This is a quilt I finished in May 2012. I used strips from two different Bali-pops (one was Kiwiberry - I don't remember the name of the other one). I cut the strips into 10" strips before sewing them together. Unfortunately, I made a mistake trimming the field and had problems when I put the green inner border on. That's when I decided to slash it and add the extra strips at random angles. I think it actually turned out better this way.

I got it quilted in June 2012 and am using it as a nap quilt.

Mom's Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my mother. I finished the field at a quilt retreat in Wimberly in June 2012. I originally planned to add a thin green batik border where the rose one is, but when I auditioned it, it did not work. I got it quilted in July 2012. I ended up binding in that green - it works a lot better on the outside of the big border. My mother will be visiting in two weeks and I will give it to her then.
